Adding splashes of colour
Want to add a splash of colour to your home but don’t want to paint an entire room or wall?
Gretchen Flynn, Dulux colour expert, shares some ideas on interesting ways to add colour to your home renovation:
Collect shells, stones and branches, paint these and then group them together in a bowl.
Liven up your fireplace when it’s not in use, and make it a focal point of the room by painting pinecones.
Paint different sized and shaped jars and bottles and group them together.
Keep an eye out for different styled chairs at op shops or garage sales. Paint each chair a different colour for an eclectic and unique look.
Dip leaves in coloured paint and place them in a bowl to create a gorgeous and unique centrepiece.

Pick up a canvas at your local art and craft store, and paint it in a contrasting hue to your walls. Not only will you have a unique piece of art, but it will also add interest to your walls.
The team at Refresh Renovations will be happy to help you with all stages of your renovation project, including design, build, colour selection and project management.
