Every successful business needs that one person who whips them all into shape and keeps it together when everything feels a bit crazy. That’s our Raewyn!
Raewyn’s extensive background in office management and executive assistance, means she’s seen it all. If there’s a problem, she’ll often be the one tasked with finding a solution. Her calm no nonsense nature is a great asset to our busy business and ensures the background work gets done, and on time. With over 25 years of accounting and sales experience, Raewyn takes great care in managing the money side of things for us, dealing with tradies and assisting clients with their accounts.
Previous roles have involved the building industry, providing Raewyn with a sound understanding of the intricacies of renovation work and the interplay between trades. Raewyn and her husband Ian live on a lifestyle block in the countryside of Waiuku. They have two daughters, three gorgeous grandchildren, cows, a cat, and two very cheeky dogs, all of which keep them both young.
On weekends, you’ll often find Raewyn and Ian escaping to their beach house at Coromandel. With a love of wide open spaces, the quiet of nature and the calm of the ocean, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and reenergise for another week at the office. In recent years Raewyn has tried her hand at new experiences, ticking off the bucket list before there’s a need for a bucket list! This includes travelling to Hawai’i to support her grandson run a half marathon, getting in the saddle and experiencing a traditional sheep muster on horseback, fishing off the back of a jet ski, and exploring as much of New Zealand as she possibly can.
Getting out in the garden, walking her dogs and catching up with family, help to keep Raewyn sane and ready to take on the challenges of another busy week. Being involved in the hustle and bustle of the building industry, and working with a team focused on successfully delivering fantastic projects, is why Raewyn enjoys her role at Refresh Renovations Franklin. And as the most senior in the office, she keeps us all on our toes!
