A dedication to her clients, and an eye for detail ensures Sue has extremely successful relationships with her clients. With over 25 years in the building industry and a background in architectural design, Sue's strengths show in her highly organised, efficient and detail-oriented approach to projects.
Prior to joining Refresh Renovations Franklin, Sue gained extensive experience as a Merchant Representative, acquiring a vast knowledge of building materials, kitchen and joinery design. Understanding how materials connect and knowing the pitfalls of various kitchen designs, gives Sue an inside edge when it comes to renovation projects. Joinery design can make a huge difference to the overall look of a property and Sue knows what looks great, and what doesn’t, a great asset to have.
Sue is a champion multi-tasker, which is one of the most recognised skills successful project managers hold. Being able to juggle multiple projects at one time, whilst not dropping the ball on any, is Sue’s forte. Using systems to support the delivery of tasks on time and on budget, is one of the keys to her success. Satisfaction for Sue comes from delivering more to her clients than what has been promised, and she achieves this by taking time to fully understand client needs and wants.
She asks many questions, so that she is able to form a full picture of exactly what a client is seeking. If that picture looks flawed to Sue’s professional eye, she will be sure to provide her clients with alternative options that will deliver the successful outcome they are seeking.
Based in the country coastal Franklin community of Waiuku for 13 years, Sue spends her spare time living the country life on her lifestyle block. With horses and cattle sharing her slice of paradise, she’s often found wandering the paddocks tending to her animals and soaking up the peace and tranquillity after a busy week. Sue’s partner in crime is her much adored dog “Sugar”, a gorgeous huntaway cross with a fantastic personality – just like Sue! The challenge of bringing a renovation project together successfully, and of helping clients bring their vision to life, is just one of the reasons why Sue loves working at Refresh Renovations Franklin.
