STEP 1
The first step in the process is for Refresh to understand exactly what you want to achieve in your home (including the reasons for your renovation). Refresh has a thorough and professional briefing process that we take all customers through.
Our approach is to listen carefully to your requirements, and to ask questions to ensure we understand exactly what you are looking for, what is important to you and why.
STEP 2
The next step is to translate your requirements into an architectural concept and investigate the feasibility of what you would like to build. We’ll analyse your project to identify risks, constraints and explore ideas to ultimately assess its feasibility.
During this stage, Refresh will provide estimates based on average costs. So you can start making decisions on what your budget can include.
STEP 3
Working drawings are then developed based on the concept plans, and many budget decisions will already have been made. A detailed project cost and contract can now be produced based on the specifications of your project. It will take account of the engineering, structural, design and aesthetic decisions you have made.
If required, the cost can be refined or brought down by making modifications to the design.
STEP 4
Your Refresh project manager will brief their team on the project and schedule and manage their activity. Renovating is a multi-layered process, and trades need to be carefully scheduled to keep the job moving forward smoothly.
Your Refresh project manager will ensure quality control at each stage, to eliminate any issues or disputes at the end of the project.
STEP 5
The final stage is for Refresh to ensure that all Council documentation is completed and you have the necessary Code of Compliance documentation. Congratulations – your renovation is complete!
In addition, Refresh provides all customers with a 10-year workmanship warranty to ensure you have total peace of mind to go with your new renovation.
