Bill’s experience with previous roles managing a business makes him well placed to manage homeowner communications, project management and people management, because this isn’t far removed from his previous role. Prior to joining Refresh Renovations, he worked to manage the fitting of sprinkler systems into tower blocks throughout the UK; ensuring homeowner safety and security through the highest possible standard of systems. This reinforces his work and comms with residents and homeowners and helps him work to reassure them throughout all interactions.
His previous role in the Royal Navy and with News International (working on global publications such as The Sun, The Times and The News Of The World!) have also contributed toward his exceptional communication skills – which have long been lauded by both those working in and with Refresh Renovations Southampton. A logical, organised and detail-driven person, Bill is great placed to successfully manage and inspire a team of renovation experts and enthusiasts.

Although he manages the team, Bill wouldn’t describe himself as a specialist in home renovations himself, but identifies his strengths in sourcing and managing people who are! Bills experience with  home renovations personally has led him to understand the importance of the Refresh process in properly m=planning and managing home renovations to ensure they go to plan. The fascination in and respect for those who are experts in the renovation trades makes him the perfect person to manage and oversee property projects for his customers. Few people would be more diligent in ensuring their projects go to plan and stick to budget.
In his home life, Bill is a dad to two boys (now men!) and when presented with the opportunity to run the Refresh Renovations Southampton franchise entirely, grasped the chance and jumped at the potential to start afresh and take on a new challenge. He’s a sports fan, loves to meet and chat with new people and makes an effort to try the local beer wherever he finds himself.
