What flooring installation services do Refresh Renovations Perth offer?

In addition to taking care of all of your home renovation design and construction needs, your local Refresh team can remove, install, repair and/or finish your flooring.

Your local team can take care of the supply and installation of:

  • Vinyl flooring
  • Laminate flooring
  • Carpet
  • Wood flooring
  • Tile flooring
  • Bamboo flooring
  • Cork flooring
  • Polished concrete flooring
  • Natural stone flooring
  • Engineered wood flooring
  • Composite flooring
  • Underfloor heating

...and anything else you can think of!

How much will it cost to have new flooring installed?

The final cost of your new flooring will depend on a few factors such as the type of flooring you select and whether or not there is any hidden damage that needs to be repaired. Laminate and vinyl are two popular flooring materials that fall on the lower side of the price range. You can also achieve a cost-effective alternative to hardwood flooring by using laminate wood flooring. While they usually don’t come cheap; tile flooring, concrete and hardwood are durable options which all provide a beautiful high-end finish.

What flooring materials are termite resistant?

While flooring such as bamboo, some composites, concrete and certain timbers (such as cypress, heartwood and pressure-treated woods) are known for being somewhat termite resistant, they are by no means 100% termite-proof. There are many factors that can enhance the termite resistance of your flooring. Sub-floor ventilation is important, as termites are attracted to moisture. It’s also important to stay away from materials that will attract termites - especially damp woods. For further advice on creating a termite-resistant home, please consult your local Renovation Consultant.

How does the Refresh design and build process work?

All Refresh Renovations Consultants follow an end-to-end process that helps to keep every stage of your project running smoothly. They will guide you through the planning, design and costings of your project before organising the delivery of your flooring materials and scheduling in a team of flooring installers and any other trades that your project may require. Your Style,
Your Budget,
Our Expertise

Refresh®’s process supports a bespoke design and build: a renovation tailored to your lifestyle requirements and taste. Your local Luxury renovation consultant will manage every aspect for you - working to keep everything on track.

Step 1

Briefing / Initial Consultation

The first thing your Luxury renovation consultant will want to know is what it is that you want to achieve through your home renovation. In this initial consultation, you can throw all of your ideas on the table - your consultant will then tailor them to your property and budget.

Step 2

Concept and Feasibility

With a clear understanding of your renovation goals, your Luxury consultant can arrange for an architectural concept to be drawn up. This allows your Luxury consultant to assess whether or not your ideas are feasible, and allows you to point out any changes you would like in the design - before any work begins.

Step 3

Working Drawings and Costing

Next, working drawings will be developed. These will take into account the engineering, structural, design and aesthetic decisions you have made. If you would like to make any further changes, now is the time to do so. From there, your Luxury consultant will present you with a fixed-quote as well as a contract.

Step 4

Build / Construction Stage

Finally, you get to witness your project transition from the page to your property! Every aspect of the build will be managed for you, allowing you to carry on with your everyday life. Your Luxury consultant will do everything in their power to keep your project on schedule so that it can be completed within a set timeframe and budget.

Step 5

Your Finished Renovation

The final stage is for your local Luxury consultant to ensure that all Council documentation is completed and you have the necessary Code of Compliance documentation. Congratulations – your renovation is complete!
