I was born in London and travelled overseas frequently with my parents as a child to visit family mainly in Italy. It was then that I discovered that there was a whole world to see beyond the shores of the United Kingdom. As an adult, a 30 year career in travel and tourism ensued. Customer satisfaction is at the core of the travel industry worldwide and it is with this ethos firmly in my own core to this day which aligns me so closely to the Refresh Renovations business model and values. My aim in this role is to deliver the highest possible level of customer service in an industry where it is notoriously hit or miss.
My partner's avid interest in home renovations shows combined with us recently moving into a newly modernised home piqued my interest in the home renovation industry. Having started my career in the travel industry in customer-facing roles and progressing into management, my focus on the customer service performance of my teams, operational excellence and relationship management skills were the key factors in my success over the years. These skills are very much aligned to the skills necessary to run an efficient, customer-centric, renovation project and I draw upon these skills in my role at Refresh Renovations.
Outside of work I enjoy the beachside atmosphere of the Gold Coast city and I like to take long walks as well as cycle rides along the coastline. Also the adrenaline of winter sports on snowy Mountains, travelling the world, sampling great food and wine in great company are also important to me!
