My name is Juliane, and I am the Office Administrator at KKG Limited, Refresh Renovations.
I was born and raised in Berlin, Germany and have been living in New Zealand for over 16 years.
I first learned about New Zealand as a popular student travel destination during my last couple of years at school. I attended multiple presentations of people coming here and absolutely loving it.
Those presentations encouraged and helped me in making the decision to come here. After finishing school, I decided to take some time off and travel to New Zealand to improve my English language skills.
In 2009, not only did I fall in love with NZ and its beautiful landscape but as well with my husband. Together we have 3 children who keep us busy. I love our family time, from outdoor activities to watching movies and playing board games. In my spare time I enjoy painting, reading books, solving sudokus (although they can take a long time) and putting together jigsaw puzzles.
Working with Del and Jim and the team has been a great opportunity. There is so much to learn which will help me upskill and grow in my career path with them.
My previous roles were in the retail sector, and I enjoyed it most of the time. Although fashion has been an interest of mine throughout my life, I wanted to try something new; something different, which motivated me to complete a Business Administration course with Te Pukenga. It was a great experience to study again, imparting new confidence that it is not too late to try new things in life.
At KKG Limited I feel valued, and my work is making a difference. I enjoy helping where I can, learning new skills, working in a tight knit team where everyone can rely on each other and helping each other out.
I am looking forward to learning more, building great relationships within the team, our clients and suppliers and being part of creating happy homes.
