Buying or selling a home?

We recently had our house renovated including implementing 5 new skylights to a rebuilt ceiling structure, upgrading a main bathroom, reconfiguring and installing an ensuite and installing a small but very functional laundry. The project took a little over three months while we lived onsite, so it was somewhat of a massive undertaking and involved refreshing about two thirds of our house. Mike, Sophia and Rachel managed all aspects of the project from initiation and concept through to implementation and management of the wider team. Sophia and Rachel were quick to respond to any questions or concerns in the early stages whilst Mike held a great rapport with all of the trades involved and was very knowledgeable on all areas during the implementation stage (and if he didn’t know he would find out for us if we had any urgent questions). He was able to get things fixed or changed quickly if required due to the reputation that Refresh has with the team of local tradies. They all took good care of us by providing up to date progress reports and scheduling as well as checking that we were happy with progress, We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Refresh Renovations Hawkes Bay!

Don was great right from the first meeting, he understood what I wanted to achieve, I felt totally involved in the project and I was. It was like working with an old friend, he was very easy to get on with, and came up with some great ideas to improve the process and the outcome. I found him easy to communicate with - he has excellent customer service skills, he went the extra mile and helped out with things I wouldn't have expected him to do to make sure we kept to the very tight time frames and budget and I think formost he is a naturally honest hard working guy who enjoys what he does and that shows. I would highly recommend Don and would have no hesitation in using him again on any future projects I may undertake.

I have waited 17 years to complete the renovations on my home, over these years I must have employed some of most unreliable and marginally honest trades’ people that Auckland has to offer. This time I was determined that the work would be done properly and by folk I could trust.  

From the outset Jim impressed me; straight-forward, honest, imaginative and thorough. After a few initial conversations Jim returned with advice and quotes. In addition, he was able to present ideas that I had not considered. The plan was exactly what I wanted and I felt comfortable to leave the country for a month safe in the knowledge that Jim and his team were dealing with the work. The completely non-stressful way to do renovations. Get Refresh! Lia and her team did a great job on our ensuite - just what I wanted. This is the second time I have used Refresh - the first time involved a cost-effective solution to our garage and parking issues. It is fantastic. We engaged Saleem to renovate our bathroom and put in a deck with seating and stairs. Right from the start we found Saleem easy to deal with, clear and prompt communication and giving us genuine guiding advice throughout the initial design stages.
