I have really enjoyed working with Mike, Sophia and their team at Refresh. It was so great to have lots of advice on the initial plans. My renovation ideas completely changed after our first meeting .So many fun things to think about!!! From the beginning stages to the finished product they were nothing but professional. Communication was excellent and any questions I had were answered immediately. The tradesmen were all so respectful, friendly, professional and informative. It was much appreciated to have Mike on site most days to check progress and keep me updated. The work was carried out to a very high standard. I would highly recommend Refresh and would love to work with Mike and Sophia again if the situation arose.

Having just bought our retirement house we have been 'future-proofing' it for when we get old. Refresh co-ordinated the refurbishment of the kitchen and created a 'wet-bathroom' in 2014. Wayne, the Refresh chap, never promised anything that he couldn't deliver. He enabled the whole project to run smoothly, the various tradesmen arrived on site, and departed within the promised time scale, thus giving a sense at all times that we were moving towards our nominated finish time. Wayne even went the extra mile in suggesting and placing our 'old kitchen' on his personal TradeMe web site (I don't have one), thereby reducing our costs.
We have been so happy with Wayne and Refresh that we have them back at the moment (May 2015) undertaking the next phase of our 'refurbishing for our old age' involving external and internal painting and insulation (roof and underfloor). Again we have the careful consultation with the tradesmen arriving on the promised days. Wayne and Refresh make these jobs so easy. He has a comprehensive list of competent tradesmen who are efficient, do a good job, and are economical. We heartily recommend them.

Refresh helped us to achieve a really good renovation in trying times, with Covid putting stretches on resources. Danielle and Peter were quick to help with any queries and were very professional and easy to deal with. We are very happy with our refreshed home.

Kathy was very professional and a pleasure to talk through ideas with. She was thorough and dedicated her time to understanding the overall vision for our property. I would recommend having a discussion Kathy to work through your vision.

We decided to engage Refresh to do our renovations as we liked the idea that they took care of everything, and that they were experts in renovations rather than new builds. We were not disappointed. The level of organisation and communication was very good. We especially liked the BuilderTrend website they used as it contained up-to-date information on the progress, timelines, budget and schedule of works. It was also a great way to communicate with the project manager, Jade, who was also always available on his mobile for any questions. Kris MacGregor, the franchise owner, was great too. His background as a builder helped to ensure our brief was both doable and cost effective. Kris also put us on to some good suppliers who were able to suggest better products at cheaper prices.

The project ran pretty much to schedule, with any delays mostly due to us adding more requirements as we went along! Paul the lead builder was awesome. He often came up with helpful suggestions, and his attention to detail was impressive. We are very happy with the finished product and are happy to recommend Kris and his team.

Our project was handled by Mike & the refresh team. We were very happy with the whole experience. Mike was very easy to deal with & the work completed to a high standard.

A big thank you to Matt and his team of local professional tradesman. We now have 2 new bathrooms, toilet and kitchen floor. I still don't believe it's our ensuite when I walk into the room, beautifully updated. Matt was wonderful to work with and having him as our project manager was brilliant. We couldn't have done this without him, combining our ideas with his own and having his advice and knowledge helped us through this renovation. Every build has its challenges, especially in an older home, but Matt sorted any problems quickly and took the stress out of the situation for us. We highly recommend this team and would use them again.

Lia is amazing. We had some renovation work done to our place 12 months ago. Throughout the process she was incredibly professional, and made sure our needs were met. During the lockdown recently, we noticed a leak in the ceiling (on a Friday night to make things worse). We emailed Lia, and within an hour we had roofers organised for the next day, and all covered under their warranty. We were incredibly impressed with this, and shows that the ongoing support will be there. It is one thing to have a good experience during the work, but to maintain this level after completion is on another level. If I could rate Lia and her team higher I would. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.
