The bathroom required a full renovation. Helen could no longer step into and out of the bath/shower, so a full shower was a priority for safety reasons. Water damage from roof leaks between Helen’s unit and her neighbour’s needed fixing and the roof itself repaired and cleaned.

In-depth and in stride

Following their initial consultation and discussions, Helen and her husband were thrilled with the concept that Lia’s design consultant, Tina Daisley, presented. The bathroom was set to be transformed with a beautiful, fresh palette and light galore. The initial budget for the bathroom and bedrooms was estimated at $150,000 but was extended to $170,000 once it became apparent how extensive the water damage was. The rot repairs included roofing repairs between the two units, and a clean, repair, and waterproof of the existing roof.
