A smile and great customer service is what to expect when dealing with Martin. Joining the Refresh team back in 2016, having started his role as a project coordinator, Martin quickly developed a sharp eye for renovations while managing everything from small projects to major extensions to brand new house builds. Martins values and previous experience shows the genuine intention to make a client's journey through the renovation process an exciting one.

Martin’s proficient communication ensures the client experience is pleasurable, as renovating is a step-by-step process. Time management is a critical part of Martin’s skill-set as being punctual and the ability to manage multiple projects smoothly is a vital part of being a project manager. It is crucial to liaise with the appropriate professionals and clients during the many stages of the renovation, as this provides peace of mind to the client, and they are able to control and review their renovation as it progresses.

Fulfillment for Martin is seeing a project spark from a mere idea, to a completed project that a customer and we as a company can be proud of. Martin’s previous experience in retail, marketing, sales in many industries gives him extensive access to knowledge on kitchen appliances, and electronic products. This provides a greater understanding and accurate analysis when it comes to the planning and layout of utility rooms and kitchen renovations.

Born and raised in Auckland, Martin attended school at Macleans College being elected Olympic Weightlifting Captain and Coach. This achievement demonstrated Martins discipline and hard work ethic even from early days of his life. Martin was also a representative for Olympic Weightlifting New Zealand, winning a multitude of medals on a national and international platform and breaking 5 New Zealand records.
